HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE TERMINATIONS
We specialise in HV cable jointing and terminations. Our knowledge has been passed down through three generations. We have combined this experience with modern techniques and innovative equipment to develop a highly efficient and effective cable jointing process which produce quality results every time.
INSTALLATION AND TESTING OF TRANSFORMERS SWITCHGEAR AND CABLE
Rolray Electrical offers a large range of testing services including AC, DC and VLF hipot testing, micro meter continuity and current injection up to 1000 amps for protection relay programming.
CONSTRUCTION (in accordance to design) AND TESTING OF EARTH GRIDS
Four point Wenner array testing for earth grid design with three point fall of potential testing for final earth grid construction results with 2 point and CT testing for established earth systems as part of substation maintenance programs. Rolray Electrical also offers Earth Grid Injection Testing and Engineering Services as part of Earthing System, Earth Potential rise Safety Systems.
SUBSTATION MAINTENANCE
A full range of inspection and testing services, including Thermal imaging, insulating oil sampling and analysis, partial discharge testing and reporting, shutdown testing and HV switching operations as part of legislative obligations for HV consumers.
PROTECTION SYSTEMS
Protection relay programming with Primary and Secondary injection testing, as part of construction and maintenance of substation protection systems. Rolray Electrical also specialises in self powered relay harmonic and reliability issues.
LIGHTNING PROTECTION AND SURGE DIVERSION SYSTEMS
Construction of lightning protection systems to Australian and International standards with ongoing testing and maintenance programs. Surge diverter installation of HV and LV switchboards to add to a complete over voltage protection capability to your electrical system.
